The South African Responsible Gambling Foundation invites applications for an internship position in our Social Services Department. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while contributing to the well-being of individuals and communities affected by problem gambling.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Degree in Social Work
- Language Proficiency: Efficiency in English, Ndebele, Swati, and Zulu, Afrikaans (at least two).
- Professional Registration: Current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP)/Eligible to register with SACSSP
- Driving License: Valid driver’s license (an advantage)
- Background Check: Police clearance/Form 30 clearance
- Citizenship: South African citizen
- Age: under 35 years old
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
Internship Details:
- Duration: 12 months
- Location: Parktown, Johannesburg
- Stipend: Competitive monthly stipend
